Systems and Automation : How it Grows a Better Business

What is a system and why automation?

A system is a repeatable process to get a desired result. Automation will get it done without the work.

The importance of systems for your business is literally the difference between life and death of your business. You’ll need a system before you can setup automation as well. Even if you’re a small business it’s going to make or break your sanity and influence everything from company culture to client success. Read below for all there is to setting up your systems and automation.

Your Lead Generation and Booking Consistent Leads is going to depend on your systems & automation

We’ve all heard of funnels, facebook ads and getting to the front page of google to grow your business and the importance each plays. Ultimately you’re going to want a strategy that feels aligned and then create a system around executing that strategy to fill your pipeline. At some point you’re going to be delegating tasks. Because let’s be real, you can’t build freebies, curate, post and schedule content, or manage 5 social media channels and your email list all while serving your existing clients.

Hate FB ads… No problem! Not into writing… All good!

It’s possible to find and create a lead generation system that works for you.

Excellent Customer Service is going to depend on it

Whatever your business is whether it be a web designer, graphic designer, photographer, coach to deliver an exceptional customer experience you’re going to lean heavy on the delivery either with your time, your employees’ time, or software, systems and automation. Whichever it is you’ll need direction aka system for all those working in your business including yourself.

Getting your client’s results is going to depend on it

Each client is going to be unique with unique needs. That being said it’s going to be necessary to have a framework in place that you can customize within each stage especially if you plan on delegating or bringing more people on. It will not only keep you organized but help you understand where holes in your process are and what you’re missed and where to add it. I know every time I ask a question I go into my process and make sure I add things so I don’t need to ask that question and bother my client again.

The ability to take care of your family or take a vacation is going to depend on your systems and automation/efficiency

The ability for your business to run while you’re not there is going to be necessary to grow and function without you. Unless you plan on spending every day, and all day working without really taking vacations or dropping everything including friends and family at the drop of a hat. There’s so many tools to use. Using the right ones in the right place is the difference between a tech headache and smooth sailing. You’ll also need to have the right directions for your contractors or employees
